OCAC’s Art Collection

This book is the official catalog of an exhibition showcasing the art collections of the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture, Ministry of Culture, which has selected a set of outstanding art collections that present the creative scene of Thai artists. More than 70 works were exhibited at the Ratchadamnoen Contemporary Art Center in Bangkok. The exhibition is composed of a series of collections that are lined up according to the social context of each era. Trace back from the decade of 2480 to the present with articles and essays that show progress in techniques, methods, concepts, and paradigms. On the line of artistic relations since the formation of contemporary art in Thailand, it also initiated the foundation from the transition period of government “Modern art” continues to develop into contemporary art along with raising the direction and issues of various interesting creative stories of Thai contemporary artists in the present day.
